| WHEN TO FISH |
| You can fish 12 months a year in Michigan. We guide all of them. Opportunities to target Trout and Steelhead all year THE SPRING of the year brings the Steelhead up the rivers to spawn. Fishing for them provides some heart pounding action. Spring also brings more bugs Trout to your hand. This is also a n excellent time to Fly fish sink tip lines and strip streamers. THE SUMMER As June nears the summer run Steelhead enter the river (Skamania). What a ride this fish will give you, with 6 foot leaps out of the water. Will put a grin on anyone's face. We continue to Trout fish throughout the summer, and as the water warms up so does the Small mouth Bass fishing. Pound for pound an exciting battle and lots of action. THE FALL Late summer will start Salmon up the river, as early as August these early Salmon are very aggressive and hard chargers. The Salmon run continues through late fall and provides for exciting days fishing the river. About November the Steelhead return to the river, these fall Steelhead are aggressive and most remain in the river throughout the winter providing us with winter Steelhead fishing opportunity.
